I've been to a line art coloring class & it seems most people don't take the time to be so precise, but rely a lot on the program to sharpen the lines and clean things up for them.
I sketch everything down with a pencil, darken the lines I think I want to keep, go over the lines I know I want to keep with a gel pen, erase all of the remaining pencil, scan, and then go over everything to clean up anything remaining digitally... which isn't much. (If I want to add any nifty digital elements I do it then.) Usually any specks that arise are *from* the scanner.
Anyway, thank you. I'm sure it takes longer than clicking a few buttons on a program, but I think it's worth it.

That is grand, how you explained it all. Amazing and I appreciate the time you took in explaining your process.
